it is a Sunday at about 10am. I'm sitting at a red light with my left turn signal on, the green arrow glows and I proceed to make the turn. I get onto the street I was turning on to, and the cop who was across from me at the red light has made a right and gotten behind me with his lights and siren going. I pull over, surprised when he stays behind me. He comes up to my window and requests my paperwork, I inquire if there is a problem, and he asks me to wait, as he walks away with my DL, Ins, and Reg, papers. After a few minutes, he comes back, hands me a ticket and says my front plate was bent and obscured. The ticket is $42. I'm 41 years old, my record is clean. You think he could of asked/told me about it and given me a warning? Heck it could of happened that morning getting in and out of the bank parking lot on my way to the ATM. At least its not points, just revenue for the city, another form of tax.
